Power is in BEING SOCIAL

Talking about the term Power is in BEING SOCIAL, when I first realized this was the days when shows about cat family (lion, tiger, leopard, etc.) were so popular on Discovery channel, with each episode I found that any group is always superior in terms of power than any individual or smaller group. Now the question is when there is already a term Strength in Unity so what difference does Power is in BEING SOCIAL make?

Answer is little bit complex as the term POWER has to be redefined now, in this era of 3.9 Mbps internet (World Average) POWER cannot be defined only as physical strength of manpower but it is something which includes likeness, popularity, adaptability, emotional balance, compromise and yes physical strength too. This redefinition of term can be understood by the fame each social media is getting these days.

A leader is powerful only if he is like-able, popular, adaptive, emotional balanced, if can compromise and collect manpower whenever he wants, now this leader can be of a family, a society, a company or even of a country. These qualities generates power and make someone great, on the contrary a Tusker is always a threat to jungle society even if it have great size and large tusks but is can never be a leader as it is not social and thus its power diminishes in front of a group of elephants.

Think about any person whom you think is powerful, you will find that person have all these qualities. Human is always termed as a social animal but for a big percentage of human on earth the term social here is limited to reproduction only or some has a proud feeling of including a group of people and giving them a communal name, they have forgot how we evolved from apes to human and have started living like animals with some social (actually they are not social) responsibilities.

Keep thinking, your views are always invited and I expect that every other human whether agreed or not would respect the social behavior of this human. Thanks…
